Important Information You Should Know
- If the device cycles and new recordings are made, completely overwriting old video files, the old video files cannot be accessed. In case of overwriting, access to old files may be difficult or impossible; the situation becomes clear with analysis.
- If you have intentionally or accidentally deleted a video image from the DVR recording device, do not make new image recordings. The new recordings you make will damage the old images.
- If you have intentionally or accidentally formatted the DVR or NVR recording device, do not make new image recordings.
- Never remove the hard disk inside the DVR or NVR recording device and connect it to your computer as a second disk. Directly connecting the hard disk carries the risk of overwriting data; professional analysis is recommended. DVR devices have their own file format and if you do not install it to another computer with special techniques, the computer you install it to will irreversibly delete the data in it.
- If the DVR or NVR recording device does not recognize the hard disk, do not make electronic card changes.
- If the DVR or NVR recording device does not recognize the hard disk, do not open the hard disk cover.
- Turn off the DVR or NVR recording device and unplug it, and do not turn it back on.
- Do not send the hard disk you removed from the DVR recording device to notebook repairers, computer technicians or the company where you purchased the DVR device.
