Secure Data Erasure
The device stays usable, the data does not come back: certified, standards-based erasure
Instead of destroying the device, we erase what is on it beyond recovery. Deleting a file or formatting a drive does not remove the data — the records can be brought back with the right software.
Secure erasure overwrites every sector, verifies the result afterwards and documents it. The hardware stays usable, which suits resale, returns, end-of-lease and hand-over processes.
Erasure is carried out with PIWIPE, the software we developed ourselves. Sixteen standards are supported, including DoD 5220.22-M, NIST SP 800-88 and IEEE 2883-2022; depending on the drive, hardware-level ATA Sanitize or NVMe Sanitize can be used. S.M.A.R.T. data is read beforehand, hidden areas (HPA/DCO) are detected and removed, and the result is verified after the wipe.
16 erasure standards · Verifiable certificates
Each successful wipe produces an erasure certificate with a unique serial number, a QR code and a SHA-256 digest, verifiable from outside your organisation without logging in.
If a wipe fails, no certificate is issued: a failure report recommending physical destruction is produced instead, and the device goes to physical destruction on your approval.
Devices are collected against a signed record, erased at our laboratory in Sisli and returned with their reports. Logistics support is available.
Where data may not leave the building, our team erases on site: on-site destruction.
You can licence the same software: PIWIPE and the PIWIPE P8 appliance.
The certificates issued can be used as evidence for destruction obligations under GDPR, Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and ISO/IEC 27001. Our management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 27001:2013, ISO 14001:2015 and TS EN 15713:2009.
