A desktop station that erases eight drives at once, with no workstation attached

PIWIPE P8 is a desktop sanitization station that runs on its own, without being attached to a computer. The standard configuration erases eight drives at once; four- and ten-bay versions are built to order.

It is made for ITADs and in-house IT teams processing dozens of drives a day: it does not tie up a workstation, and every drive leaves with its own certificate.

Speed and throughput

Hardware methods such as ATA Sanitize or NVMe Format finish within minutes, while multi-pass overwrite standards can take hours on large drives. Because the eight bays run in parallel, total time approaches the time for a single drive. We can measure this against your own drive mix.

Verification and certificates

Each drive's S.M.A.R.T. data is read and written onto its certificate, hidden areas (HPA) are detected and removed, and the result is verified after the wipe. If verification fails, the job is marked failed and no credit is spent.

Each drive receives a destruction certificate with a QR code, a SHA-256 digest and a unique serial number. Certificates can be white-labelled with your own brand and records exported as CSV, for use in GDPR, KVKK and HIPAA processes.
